Georgia . . .
I am
Georgia Olker
and I am a career hairstylist. I’ve been in the business
for over 25 years. I'm a native of the Chicago area, and have owned a salon in the
southwest suburb of Brookfield. I'm a mother of 2 and have  5 beautiful
grandchildren.
I
have a mix of interests, ranging from cooking, golfing and antiquing, and I
also collect Snow Domes.
My husband
and business partner, Tom, is the most ambitious man I know and we both
love a challenge. We moved to
South Carolina in 1995 to live by the beach and the warm climate.
We both have always liked
sporty cars. I currently drive a 1981
Corvette and belong to the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club.
The one thing people would be surprised to learn about me would be
that I grew up on a 5 acre farm northwest of Chicago. One of my jobs was
to feed the chickens, that was a learning experience!
My motto
is "Smiling is Contagious". You can easily change somebody’s mood by doing
such a simple thing!
